In the course of the meeting, Taras Chornovil highly appreciated relations between China and Ukraine, having underscored that "relations between our countries have been rapidly developing for the recent years". He also expressed his hopes that such meeting would facilitate establishment of stable bilateral relations between the two nations.
Taras Chornovil informed the members of the delegation of the changes that took place in Ukraine within the last month.
Zhang Zhongwei stated that the meeting "demonstrated friendly attitude towards his country and him personally". Moreover, bilateral Chinese-Ukrainian relations are characterized by huge potential and prospects of further development.
